Arthur H. Cooper II

Arthur H Cooper II, "Rick" or "Coop", entered eternal rest on Friday, April 10, 2026 at age 78 in Geauga County, Ohio.

Arthur was born in Hartford, Connecticut on January 17, 1948. He graduated from Hall High School in West Hartford, Connecticut.

During the Vietnam War he enlisted in the Air Force and was injured during his time of service.

He returned to live a long life of adventures around the country's northern, eastern and southern coastal shipyards. Building military ships was the highlight of his career as a contract marine design engineer.

He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Y. Sargent and his father Arthur H. Cooper. He leaves a spouse, three sisters, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends.

The family wishes to thank the Veterans Administration and the staff at Ohman Family Living at Briar for their patience, care and kindness.

Per Arthur's wishes, there will be no services. Please celebrate his memory in your own way.
