Mary Jo Skiba

Mary Jo Skiba, age 62, passed away on June 17, 2026.

Mary Jo was a vibrant and loving woman whose smile could light up any room. Known for her warm spirit and lively personality, she was often the heart of every gathering. She had a creative soul, enjoyed crafting, and found great joy in cooking for those she loved. Above all, Mary Jo cherished her family. She was a devoted mother to her daughter Christie Skiba, and a proud mother-in-law to Christopher Szuch. She was a deeply loving grandmother to her beloved granddaughter, Angelina Szuch, who brought her immense joy and pride. Mary Jo also shared a special companionship with Dominic Viccarone.

She is further survived by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leonard and Dorothy Skiba. She was preceded in death by her mother Donna Hostetler, and father George Sambenedetto. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Todd T. Skiba, whom she remained devoted to throughout her life.

Mary Jo will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
