Davor Curkovic, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. He was born on August 10, 1962, in Zadar, Croatia to Ilija and Ruzica Curkovic. Davor grew up on his parent’s farm where he worked daily. Davor married in November 1986 at the age of 24. Shortly after he married, he moved to the United States in search of better opportunities for himself and his growing family to thrive. Davor then pursued a career in CNC machining and lovingly provided for his family. Davor was an avid fisher and hunter and loved the great outdoors. He also enjoyed watching sports, gardening, and cooking. He was always eager to share his home-grown vegetables and home-made dishes with everyone! Joyce Young

Joyce M. Young, 85, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, May 19, 2022, in Beachwood, Ohio. A native of Pennsylvania and an enterprise , female executive, Joyce was the President and Owner of Young Galvanizing in Pulaski, PA for over a decade. She loved to travel and saw every state in the USA and many countries across the globe. Her life changed after she visited Israel and prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane. Joyce gave all of herself and dedicated her life to her family and friends and to those less fortunate or in need. She spent her time with people, visiting, sharing a meal, remembering a birthday or a special event. She called, she wrote, and she came through the years and over the miles. Richard P. Hostutler Born 10/21/1958 in Willowick, Ohio to Harold and Mary Anne Hostutler (Sebrasky) A Eastlake North High School Graduate of 1977 Passed away 03/22/2022 in his Kirtland Home surrounded by loved ones and his wife Sheryl of 16.5 years. At the age of 63 Rick lost his 10 year battle to Kidney Cancer. Rick was an avid car enthusiast owning more than 20 of his unique Hot Rods throughout the years. He would often tell his friends that his goal in life was to own as many different cars as possible, without driving his wife crazy! He retired from MotorCars Honda, after spending more than 30 years working as a Mechanic. He could often be found at car shows all around the Lake Co. April Anderson, 71, of Mentor Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. April is survived by her children John Choate, David Choate (Kelli), Dawn Anderson, Jacob Choate (Stacey) and Johnny Lee Choate; brothers Rick Coulter (Colleen) and Gerald Scot Coulter (Paula); grandchildren Crystal Warden, Jonathon Choate, Jessica Anglada (Jose), Ty Choate, Alexis Nicole Anderson and Terrance Davenport, grandchildren Layla Rogers, Waylon Rogers, Natalie Rogers, Anthony Rogers, Brooklyn Lannom, Aiden Anglada, Ki’Moni Wilson and Jae’ce Wilson. April was an avid reader, loved watching movies and playing games on her phone. She was loved dearly by her friends and family and touched the lives of so many, many knew as Nawnie. She will live on forever in our hearts.

David G. Neuman passed away peacefully with family by his side on May 11, 2021 at the age of 64, in Cleveland after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Dave is survived by his daughters Christin Swingle of Willowick and Nicole Treu (Karsten) of Rosamond, California; grandchildren Olivia, Carmella, and Xavier; sisters Sue Neuman and Barbara Winder; and beloved grand-dog Kylo. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Jennifer Piorkowski, Lindsay Hadel, and Christopher Wallace. He is preceded in death by his parents Fred A. and Phyllis E. D. Neuman. Dave was an avid tropical fish lover who worked for decades at Tropical Fish Distributors in Wickliffe, where he was entrusted to hand-select fish for prestigious aquariums and zoos nationally. He enjoyed competing, along with daughter Christin, at regional tropical fish shows, winning several ribbons and awards for the fish that he bred and raised.
