Jacky Wayne Gilbert, age 65, sadly passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at the UH Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby, Ohio after a brief battle with cancer. Jack was born on June 8, 1957, in Pennington Gap, Virginia, and grew up in Painesville Township, Ohio. Jack was a 1975 graduate from Riverside High School and recently worked at Mayfield Country Club as an accountant. He is preceded in death by his father Paul Dwayne Gilbert and mother Mildred Rose (Gibson) Eckenrode. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Kathleen Gilbert, his son Matthew Gilbert, daughter Amanda Massey (Douglas), sister Sonja Square, brother Ricky Gilbert (Lori), and grandchildren Owen Massey and Ethan Massey. Richard Ludrosky, 76, passed peacefully on March 05, 2023 at Medina Hospital after his battle with cancer. He was born in Uniontown, PA on November 09, 1946. Richard is predeceased by his wife Charlotte Ludrosky, his brothers Chuck, John, Tom and Clarance and his sisters Frances and Irene. Kathleen Ann Brumagin
Kathleen Ann Brumagin—devoted wife, caring mother, and loving grandmother—joined God in peace at the age of 75 on March 3, 2023 in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Kathy (KT) was born on September 30, 1947 to Pearl and James (Chris) Roland. She grew up in Maple Heights, and later graduated from Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing in 1969 and then certified as a Registered Nurse (RN), specializing in psychiatric nursing at various hospitals in Northeast Ohio. Kathy dedicated her life to caring for her patients, spending nearly 30 years in a career she loved. Upon retirement, she and her husband fulfilled her childhood dream of owning a farm and adopting horses, and her compassion and love extended to many dogs, cats (and even goats). Dortha Jane “Dotti” Tennant
Lovingly known to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as, “Grams,” and “Dotti T,” Dortha Jane Tennant has gone to be with the Lord in February 2023. During the 1970s “Dotti,” was familiar to certain audiences in Cleveland as a Country Western Singer. She was a featured act at one of the old Howard Johnson’s Lounges and also played at other venues which featured local C&W artists in the Cleveland area. One year she was Cleveland Chapter Queen of the Ohio Country and Western Music Association and competed in Columbus for the Title. Once she sang at the Ohio State Fair and reminisced fondly for years about her one-time performance at the Wooly Bear Festival.However, her talent was best known and appreciated by her family because she led and helped lead sing-a-longs, while accompanying herself on her guitar. Carol D. Hill, 77, of Twinsburg Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday January 13, 2023. Carol was born on October 13, 1945 to the late Matthew and Ruth Zallar. Carol was preceded in death by both her parents, her brother, John Zallar, her loving husband of 49 years Robert Hill, her sons, Robert Hill Jr (Sandra Orr) and Ronald Hill. Carol leaves behind her beloved children Raymond (Linda), Richard, Carol Orr (Andy), and Cathy Karkoska (Steve), her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren, her dearest brother Danny Zallar and Sister Darlene Hackett (Dan). Carol was a kind and sweet hearted person who was always there to help those in need. She enjoyed camping, gardening, and doing her crafts. Her most enjoyment was spending time with her family.
